 Same Performance for a Third the Price September 23, 2007

HP charges about three times more for a new cartridge of this type. I have now gone through 3 of these cartridges with my LaserJet 1018, and I have had no problems. The cartridges last about 2,000 pages each, so the price-per-page is only a little over 1 cent (as opposed to 3 cents per page if you buy the official cartridges from HP). I also buy my paper by the case from Staples, so my total price-per-page of printing is about 2.5 cents. Very good deal, considering that I used to pay over 10 cents per page with an HP inkjet printer and official ink/paper supplies.

I expected a toner that would do the job half as well as a genuine HP toner. But this product does the same quality for my printer that the genuine cartridge did. I do recommend this product and it is a good price.

No problems with this cartridge and it was 1/2 the price of an HP cartridge in Staples. The HP cartridge that came with my 1018 printer started showing bands of light print after a month. I'd have to take it out and shake it over and over again. This one is working great- no shaking so far.

I installed the toner a few weeks ago. It works just fine, and I'm very happy about the price I paid for it.

I was concerned about buying an off-brand toner cartridge to use in my LaserJet 1018. However, after comparing the price between the HP cartridge and this one, I was willing to risk it. The HP cartridge was more than double the price of this brand so I thought if I received half it's value I was doing well.
I was very surprised when the toner cartridge arrived in a timely manner and more surprise when after inserting it into the printer, the prints were equal to those produced by the HP toner.
