 WOW! This Sucks!! - GREAT gold box Deal!! November 24, 2008
I LOVE my new vaccum. I feel terrible for those who did not get in on this gold box deal at $59. I was in on the discussion too so I know there were ones who passed this up due to some misinformation from a poster. The post had said this vacuum rated 35 of 36 on consumer reports. I think a later post corrected that report but it was after this sold out. It was a different model vacuum that rated that low on consumer reports and not this one. This one can REALLY clean. The best features on this vacuum are the POWERFUL sucking (my favorite). The ability to raise the brush off the floor and use it on hardwood is wonderful. Another pro for this is how far it will reach for "off the floor" jobs. I have no excuse now not to get all my cobwebs even in the highest reaching areas. The hose stretches forever and the extensions add even more.
The cons would be that the hand held brush atachment creats too much suction that stops the brush (this was not a feature I cared about so it made no difference how good it works). This vacuum is also heavier then my last but that does not bother me since I do not have to pick it up to put it away. It seem to push easy so who cares about the weight. The weight actually makes me feel the vacuum is likely built better.
The other site reviews on this item state its downfall is the noise and yes it is noisy but what vacuum that really works well can do it without noise (I mean come on!).
I thought it hillarious to read the post that talks about how dangerous the vacuum is and you can tell they are rating it against "other vacuums they have used" and those other vaccums sound as though they are the commercial grade. They had stated getting shocks from it too. Please be aware that the shocks they were likely getting were from static and NOT a flaw of the machine. That review also mentions a hot smell when they first used it/turned it on. Any of you who have bought any new vacuum may remember that this is NORMAL for first time use. Think about it, the thing is being heated up for the first times - this smell only lasts the first use or two but it is considered normal (this is standard for most units of this nature).
This was a steal for $59. It seems fairly priced at $150 but if it hits $60 again grab it up!!
You won't be disapointed!

Cycolinc action is pulling up dirt we didnt even know was there. I bought this to replace my eureka bag vac and have been very happy so far.

I always wondered why our house was so dusty, it was because our old vaccum just looked like it worked well. this vaccum is a little big but it works beyond great. we finally have a dust free house.

I was fortunate to get this vacuum as one of Amazon's Daily Deals, which means I paid $59.99 for it. Once it arrived I immediately pulled it out of the box to try it out. Assembly is a piece of cake, simply push a few pieces together and screw in a few screws to hold it together. As expected, it worked great. It's never a good thing to see how much dust and hair can accumulate on carpets, but then again, it there were no dirty floors, we wouldn't need vacuums. I recommend this product, but if you are looking for a swivel head or something of that nature, and you want to spend 2-3 times more money, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a nice vacuum that gets the job done, than this one is a great choice.
