Dehumidifier does November 3, 2006 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
This DeLonghi dehumidifier comes with a built-in pump so you do not have to empty the collected water. It was easy to set up and started decreasing the humidity in my basement immediately. Within a day or two it dropped the humidity from over 70 percent down to the target I set of 50 percent. I have been using it about two months. It runs automatically maintaining the target humidity I set. I am happy with it and would buy the same model again.

i put it in my very large and wet basement, and it pumps lots of water daily into the floor drain. glad i got it.
Thank you DeLonghi June 30, 2006 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I had purchase 2 dehumidifiers in the past and was happy with job they did, but was not happy with the noise levels or that I had to constantly empty a bucket of water that would sometimes spill out before I got to the sink. Then I got the DeLonghi with it's built in pump. What a pleasure this unit is. It is very quite and with a push of a button I can pump out the collected water so I never have to bend over and carry a full receptacle of water again.
Great dehumidifier September 18, 2008 I admit I was reluctant given some of the negative reviews I saw, but my experience was very good. The product arrived on time, set-up took maybe 5 minutes, and it works great. I'm trying to dry out a wet basement and there are two dehumidifiers at work. This one removes much more water than the other -- plus you know where you stand because it shows you the relative humidity in the room vs. what you want it to be.
PM at the end of the season can go along ways in keeping it working September 22, 2008 If instructions are followed, it should last quite a long time. I will be honest, I had to go back and check out what could be wrong when I noticed that my unit was not pumping at the beginning of the second season, so I took a peek inside and discovered that at the end of the earlier season the hose attached to the filter needs to be drained. I did such and it has been working fine for more than 2 years now :0)
